Cebu Trick Art Museum

If I am not out on a road trip or at the beach on a weekend, I usually spend a few hours at the mall – just for the sake of being out of the house ( to those who work at home, you would totally understand why) and to do some errands that I can’t do on weekdays.

Going to the mall is almost like a part of my weekend routine.

So I decided to make the first weekend of June a bit different from my usual weekends. I tagged along @Pikouy to my trip, still on one of Cebu’s malls, not to go shopping nor to dawdle but to go visit an Art Gallery. We used to do that in SM City, Cebu – you know that area near the VECO office.

Peek at the Trick Art Museum

Cebu Trick Art Museum is located at the third floor of J Center Mall in Mandaue City, Cebu. Entrance is at 200 pesos and you can spend as much time as you want in taking your pictures. Why “Trick Art” ? Well the photos should explain. Though I don’t think it is a great idea if I would show you all of the things they have at the gallery ( though yes, they have almost all of the paintings on their facebook page), so I’ll just give you a sneak peek to what they have inside.

Great for school excursions or , like what I did, a short stop before you go on with your weekend/weekday routine.

Thanks to @Pikouy for helping me out with the photos by the way!

  1. I had a chance to see something like this but missed it. 😦 I’m not a mall person, but if all malls have this, then I’m there as much as I can. 🙂 Triple awesome, great perspective, shots!

    1. It would be really great if all malls have a certain portion or better yet an entire floor for something educational or that promotes art.
Here where I am at, malls usually hosts exhibits for local artists but it’s not permanent, like only once or twice a month. This here though is the first, and I believe the only of its kind in Cebu so far: a museum in a mall. Awesome right?

Thanks for checking my page and it’s great to see you enjoyed it (o”,o)/
